Weekend racing kicks off tonight with last start winner Valrouz off to Moonee Valley.
Valrouz Race 7 at 9.45pm over 1200m with Michael Rodd riding again. Valrouz has improved from her last start winning performance and this race looks well suited to her tonight.
Sunday will see Alrouz travel to Traralgon for the 1900m Traralgon Cup Race 8 at 5.34pm. Patrick Keane teams up with Alrouz and the pair had an impressive gallop at trackwork this morning. Alrouz put in a solid effort at Moonee Valley last week so lets hope this week Alrouz can bring home the cup!
