Welcome to Havelock Park

The Harrison Family have been synonymous with Victorian Racing for the past 40 years. Douglas’ father, Tom Harrison, began the training dynasty in the 1960s.

Doug Harrison started working for his father when he was 10 years old. After serving a sixteen-year apprenticeship, Douglas took out his own trainer licence twenty years ago. He has trained more than 1,000 winners including several Group races.

Direct access to a friendly trainer

"Not only do you have save money by not paying unnecessary racehorse syndicate fees but you also benefit from purchasing shares in racehorses that have been hand picked by the racehorse trainer, that’s me, Doug Harrison.

I regularly attend all the major yearling sales and the race horses offered for sale have been hand picked by me from over 1000+ horses I review each year. This means you are buying quality.

The other huge benefit of racing a horse with my stables is you can speak to me directly. The Doug Harrison Racing experience is much more than just a monthly email newsletter from the racehorse syndicate company.

Plus, the horses have a relaxed environment, being taken care of by my dedicated family and team members with many years of experience, having our personal training tracks and then being able to relax in day paddocks – Makes a perfect life for a racehorse."
