Doug Harrison is considering a race at the Melbourne Racing Club spring carnival for Tudor following his dominant all the way win at Moonee Valley tonight.

Harrison nominated the Blue Sapphire or the Gothic Stakes for Tudor, which was perfectly rated in front by Craig Williams.

The $250,000 Blue Sapphire is run on Wednesday, October 15 while the $120,000 Gothic Stakes is run on Caulfield Cup day

Williams flew the gates with Tudor took the colt straight to the front and was able to dictate terms before surging clear in straight.

“I liked the way he kicked,” Harrison said.

“He’s a lovely horse, the best natured horse you would ever get. He’s a professional little horse.”

Tudor, a drifter from $6 to $8, scored by two and a half lengths from Nicoscene, backed from $13 to $9, with one and a half lengths to White Hunter, the $2.90 favourite.

A very big congratulations to Team Harrison and the O'Brien Families Lauriston Racing for Tudor's fantastic win at Moonee Valley Friday night. Great to have Craig Williams aboard riding our winner too!
