We have been quiet here at Harrison Racing the past few months. The stable has been plagued with a chest infection that has knocked a fair few horses around, while others are out enjoying a spell. This has just simply meant, we haven’t had a strong Race Day presence of late.
We are however, nearly back into the swing of things and we look forward to following the progress of our stable at the races soon enough. Cataleya and Search Squad have returned from lengthy spells, overcoming feet issues to record respectful first and second up runs recently. Search Squads second place at Moonee Valley Friday night 24th March was a super run and he is showing us he can get back to his old form. Both placed in the right race, we feel a win is knocking on the door.
Alrouz had a fantastic win at Sandown on Wednesday 22nd March at long odds! The old war horse just keeps on giving and recorded a solid first up win, beating some promising horses.
Lopartega is back up and going along nicely. It’s great to have her, Fay’s Joy and Valrouz back up at the races soon.
Stream Ahead and King’s Shadow are progressing nicely in their preparations thus far.
The Spellers are doing superb out in the paddocks and we are very fortunate here at Havelock Park to have beautiful paddocks to rest horses in when needed.
We have a couple of exciting babies in the Team to watch out for in the future. These babies make it easier to get up each morning! Sir Kalahad is an All Too Hard Colt that has a presence about him. He has attitude to boot as he sure knows he’s good!
Special Artie, Park Hussler, Cleo’s Poet, Reliabelle and Exelant Mosh have all shown ability in their preparations thus far. All these look to be exciting prospects.
Looking forward to the next few months after a quiet few months.
Onwards and upwards now!
