We have had some exciting moments at Doug Harrison Racing worth re-capping over the last few months. The team is traveling nicely and we are looking forward to the return of some stable favourites in the near future.
Bobarossa put on a stunning display at Geelong on Wednesday 16th July winning at 1900m. He has been unlucky in his last two starts, but the Testa Rossa gelding made amends. We always thought he would stretch out to a longer distance, so we were very pleased with the win.
Search Squad came back after a quick freshen up to continue his fantastic campaign at city level, however he was unlucky at his first start at black type racing. Although finishing strongly, he forgot to cross the line with the jockey! Both jockey and horse pulled up just fine thankfully. An unlucky day out at Flemington but he is a very talented horse and his time will come at Group level.
Viva La Cent, Tycoon Rob and Leventi are racing well this campaign. All horses have been finishing their races off well placing second. The wins are not far off, especially that elusive maiden win for Viva!
Tudor and It’s Crunch Time have trialled exceptionally well and we are very much looking forward to having these horses back in action. Tudor finished fifth at his first start back after tough going on the heavy track at Caulfield. It’s Crunch Time will trial again shortly then we will be on the hunt for a good first up race for him.
Absolutely Famous is back in work after her cracking first up run at Caulfield last prep. This filly is currently gearing up for a return to racing end of July.
Our Lope De Vega Filly is currently spelling and will come back into work at the end of the month. There are currently shares still available in this filly. Lope De Vega progeny are firing in France!
The Written Tycoon Filly has just come back from the breakers and is having some educational work around the track. This stunning filly is really growing into herself and moves exceptionally well. There has been a lot of interest in this filly.
We are working towards finishing the month of July off with more winners and a return of the mighty Falcent in the not to distant future.
