Bairnsdale Cup Day kicked off in fine fashion for Team Harrison when Our Lily picked up third.
Stepping up to 1600m for the first time, the daughter of Fayrouz jumped well and settled in a mid field position. Rounding the turn, Nathan Rose went wide on Our Lily, who stormed home to grab third.

Then the day kept getting better for Team Harrison when Bella Sophia won!
The favorite on track Bella Sophia looked a treat in the mounting yard and did not disappoint. Also stepping up to 1600m for the first time, Bella jumped well and took up a position on the rail 6 back. Upon rounding the home turn, Bella Sophia who had had a charmed run and settled well throughout, found the gap, kicked up a gear and stormed home to win by half a length.
